The mission of the Hearth Cooks Cooking Committee is to support the educational and historical programming of the Winters Heritage House Museum as defined and directed by the Museum’s governing body. The Hearth Cooks will develop diverse programs that will demonstrate cooking techniques, equipment used, and available food of a specific period of history. The committee will emphasize the heritage of Elizabethtown and surrounding area by collecting information and using it to demonstrate the equipment, recipes, and seasonally available food using in cooking during it’s history. The committee will also use Interpretation to impart information that cannot be demonstrated.
