Seibert Library Research Information

Using the Seibert Library

Our library holds a wealth of historical information on Elizabethtown and the surrounding area.  Such information includes area maps, tax records, family records, obituaries, marriage records, business records, history on the local schools and organizations, doctoral thesis on local families, local photographs, etc.

People interested in doing research should call ahead (717 367-4672) to be certain we have a research librarian on hand to help you best locate the information you are seeking.


Research Fees

There is a $5/day charge for using the library if you are not a member.  You may opt to become a museum member and use the library for no charge.

There is a .25 charge for each copy made.

Research done via phone or email can be done for a minimum donation of $20 or a membership.
