Museum and Library Hours overwinter 2020, by chance or appointment.

Beginning March 6, 2020, Hours will be Wed., Thurs., & Fri., 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and by appointment.

January 2020

27 — Conversation E-town Lecture.  Dr. David Kenley, 7pm at the H.U. Coble House

6 — Museum resumes regular hours;  W., Th., F., 9:30am-3pm, and by appointment.

21 — Heirloom Seed Swap, WHHM Garden Committee 10am to noon.

4 – Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast, 8:30-10:30 am

May 2020

1-31 — Quilt Show!  Come visit our annual display of locally made quilts. Time worn antiques through brand new creations. Over 30 quilts are on display throughout the month.  Admission $3. Group rates are available if scheduled in advance. Members and students are free.

October 4, The Annual 3rd Grade Walking Tour

Haunted Museum —7pm-9pm, Drop by for a family-friendly haunting of your favorite Elizabethtown Museum. This event is provided by Elizabethtown College student volunteers. Free.

November 2019

13 & 14 Elizabethtown Heritage Craft Show  Friday, 4pm-8pm, Saturday 9am-3pm  Locally made arts and crafts show.  Come see the talent that lives in our community! Unique shopping! Food! Raffles! Fun! Admission $2 or food bank contribution. Museum members and students are free. admission is free after noon on Saturday.

20 — ExtraOrdinary Give — please participate in this 24-hours of giving, where your donations are boosted by the Lancaster County Community Foundation.  Look for us under Winters Heritage House Museum.  Visit www.ExtraGive.org to support your local non-profits!

27 — Last day for regular museum hours.  Museum hours available by appointment only through March 2020.  Please email or call to let us know you are coming!

December 2020

31Ring in the New Year at 7pm with Elizabethtown’s sister city, Letterkenny Ireland!  Working in conjunction with Christ Lutheran Church, two doors up, the museum is the place to await the 7pm rising of the 2021 star.  Doors open at 4pm, with crafts, demonstrations, hearth cooked foods to sample and more!
