Winters Heritage House Museum is here because the community of Elizabethtown stepped up to save these buildings. We have a volunteer staff that does its best to keep our doors open for anyone interested in a peek at our town’s history.
(Please review the “What We Do” drop down menu for detailed museum activity.)
The May Quilt Show – See a colorful display of 30 antique through modern era quilts. Don’t miss this wonderful exhibit!
September History Exhibit — Drop in during museum hours to see this annual exhibit highlighting some of Elizabethtown’s most fascinating people, places, and times.
Bev Ulrich Third Grade Walking Tours – We host a community-history walking tour for the Elizabethtown School District third graders.
Haunted Museum – Each October our volunteers have fun telling spooky tales and sharing some ghoulish moments from Elizabethtown’s past. Stop by on October’s second Friday for a fun visit.
Elizabethtown Heritage Craft Show — Every November (since 1990), we provide a place for local crafts persons and the public to get together. The show features local handmade items, local foods, holiday décor, and museum-benefit raffles.
